EMJAY

EmJay arrived at a new world at a short age. At 15, she discovered her love of singing. Life bet against her on many occasions, putting obstacles on top of obstacles in her path. She was able to get up time and time again from the low blows of time, and even full of agony and insecurities, she kept on following the road which returned her to music.

Her music is an introspective look inside her daily occurrences and how these became songs. Hard time walk thrus that took flight in melodies and healing rhythms that slowly freed her soul. Now, she wants to share those echoes of the same experience, with others that might have lived through them.

Em Jay se presentó a un nuevo mundo a corta edad. A sus quince descubrió su amor por el canto. La vida le apostó en su contra en muchas ocasiones, poniendo obstáculos tras obstáculos en su caminar. Se levantó una y otra vez en contra de las embestidas del tiempo y aun así, colmada de angustias e inseguridades, siguió calando el sendero que la devolvió a la música.

Su música es una mirada íntima al diario de sus vivencias y como estas forjaron su canción. Recorridos por momentos difíciles que alzaron vuelo en melodías y ritmos curanderos que poco a poco liberaron a su alma. Y que ahora quiere compartir esos ecos de una misma experiencia, con otros que hayan vivido las mismas vivencias.
